How will you reveal & prevail amongst the darkest of masks!
The objective was to create a flyer and supporting materials for a culture club's masquerade event.

A design made to promote a masquerade ball event. Though I was given no limitation and allowed to make decisions such as the color scheme I did make an error. The error I made was not keeping in mind the demographic that would be seeing the flyer. The design was for a Haitian culture club and though they liked the direction of the design they requested an image be used that'd better reflect the club.
Like on DribbbleA slightly darker tone was taken with this version. This was to help highlight the theme and motto of the event. A new featured photo was chosen and received approval from the club's advisor.

For this design iteration, the image of the girl wearing a mask is shown more prominently in the background. A request from the client to help emphasize the type of event. The tone was still kept dark. A portion of the image is hidden to match terms from the motto such as "reveal" and "the darkest of masks".
